fam's little ANGELS

Little kids make a home full of laughter and joy.

At home, we have 3 babies and these three are truly makukulit... They always want to talk and talk and play and many more.

Alleiah Marcene
After almost ten years of waiting, this little girl, Alleiah, was born. She is sometimes naughty and is afraid to face people, sometimes, self-centered but sweet. I've been waiting to have a baby girl in our family and it was when I was fourth year when she came.

She loves beautiful dresses and accessories. She has her own fashion at her early age and doesn't want anyone to stop her when she wants to wear this or that. So funny...

Adrian Justine
The very opposite of Alleiah is her brother AJ (Adrian Justine). Well, this boy is very soft spoken but talkative. He is not afraid to face people. He loves Angry Birds and Cartoon Networks.

He listens carefully to what we are telling him. Sometimes, he is very naughty. He loves taking pictures or maybe he just love playing the cam (hehehe)...

Aiyana Florizel
And here comes another baby girl... She is Aizel. She is very attentive. She listens to what the people around is saying and it seems that she understands it. After a while, she will copy their gestures. Sometimes, she is shy. What I like with this child is her voice which is very husky (seems not normal with a child hahahha). But it is really cute.

How I miss these children...

Few weeks from now, another baby girl will come... and I am very excited to see her- Ceyana Zofeya Ysabel. To be posted right after her birth... heheheh....

give the BEST

And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 18:3

Saturday evening last week, I attended practice in the church. Unknowingly, I will witness such an amazing scene.

Seeing children around while they are playing is just a normal atmosphere in the church while some are practicing for the service the next day. When the tambourinees were practicing, I was surprised when this child dance with them - Miguel.... that cute little  baby boy...

Wow! That really amazed me. I realized, if everyone will dance and sing and worship God the way this child does, without being ashamed or what, where purity of heart is... I could imagine how God smiles at His people.

Go Miguel! Nothing is impossible...

Little Miguel :)

Sometimes, many of us are ashamed to raise hands, dance, praise and worship God. Maybe, the thoughts that some may find us "korni" or some may tease us when we do that hinders us to truly give Him the best worship.

I realized, it's what Matthew 18:3 tells us. Children has the purest heart... and He looks at our hearts....

God bless us!

simply PRICELESS

All the statistics in the world can't measure the warmth of a smile. ~Chris Hart

Smile is something that no one can buy and can never make anyone poor. It makes a bad day bright. It even creates new friendships.

Truly, these past days have been so exhausting and the next ones will be more exhausting... plenty of things to be done, so on and so fort. Sometimes, I am looking for something that will make me feel renewed from tiring day and presto!

As I am looking at my photos, I have seen this picture of little kids. Looking at their happy faces makes me smile and feels relaxed. As I look at their innocent eyes and lovely smiles, I can also feel their happiness. It's like a transfer of joy from their heart to my heart.

A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles. ~Washington Irving

Maybe it is the purity of heart and innocence of these children that make every people seeing them feel so glad.

This is what I call "SIMPLY PRICELESS".

RECYCLED CHRISTMAS DECOR

Christmas or Christmas Day is an annual holiday generally celebrated on December 25 by billions of people around the world. As Christmas season is getting near, many people are busy decorating their houses, offices and many more with eye catching decorations.

Christmas day is also one of the days many children are waiting for. There are lots of foods and gifts.

As I visit the Provincial Capitol, I was amazed with the Christmas decorations. It was all made with recycled materials

Who could say that this giant snowman is made up of softdrinks plastic bottle? I too was surprised seeing  and knowing it.

Some of the decorations were made of tires, paper, drums, broken electronic materials like refrigerator, washing machines, and many more.

The people were very creative of their concepts.

Every department has its own concept that really made the whole Provincial Capitol

As I stroll around the capitol, I can see how happy people visiting there are especially the children.

They really enjoyed the scene too. They play and enjoyed the rain drop like Christmas lights around. The smiles of the children makes me want to take and take pictures of them. So happy.... :)

LOVE! NOT ABUSE

photo from: http://bloghop.info/2011/01/19/child-abuse/
Child abuse is the physical, sexual, emotional mistreatment, or neglect of a child.

Different jurisdictions have developed their own definitions of what constitutes child abuse for the purposes of removing a child from his/her family and/or prosecuting a criminal charge. According to the Journal of Child Abuse and Neglect, child abuse is "any recent act or failure to act on the part of a parent or caretaker which results in death, serious physical or emotional harm, sexual abuse or exploitation, an act or failure to act which presents an imminent risk of serious harm" (wikipedia).

Child abuse is more than bruises and broken bones. While physical abuse might be the most visible sign, other types of abuse, such as emotional abuse or child neglect, also leave deep, long lasting scars (helpguide.org).

Children need proper care and love from the people around them. It is a part of  growing. But sadly, many of them experience so much suffering at an early age. They need attention that will help them to mature but it's beating and abusing that they experience.
It hurts to see children working in the street, asking for alms to every people they see. The saddest part of it, is that some of the children had also acquired the habit of a street behaviors.

INNOCENCE: A key to deeper understanding

Psalm 131

My heart is not proud, O Lord,
my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
or things too wonderful for me.
But I have stilled and quieted my soul;
like a weaned child with its mother,
like a weaned child is my soul within me.
O Israel, put your hope in the Lord
both now and forevermore.

"The few wonders of the world only exist while there are those with the sight to see them.”
 -  Charles de Lint

I am always amazed with a child's innocence. Sometimes, I wish I could be a child again so I could think the way they do. It's not the childish way they act but how they handle specific situation with their childish thoughts.

Once I ask a child to pray a prayer which is not memorized by her. While she was praying, I can't help but smile and smile on how she talked to God. It's a heart melting prayer, full of sincerity and purity of heart.

There are lots of things in this world that only few appreciate. Why? We tend to forget that sometimes, we need to have that child innocence-those eyes who see everything as good and beneficial, those minds and hearts who seek for new things and consider all them as new one.
