i SMILE ^^

Hmmm... Napagtripan lang namen ni Tey bago kumain ng breakfast while listening to "I Smile" by Russ Lee. The music says how Lord makes the composer smile. Even us, when we are thinking how God planned our lives from the beginning until this very moment, we cant help but smile and say.. "Thanks my Maker."

I SMILE by Russ Lee

Lost and all alone
Looking for a reason for being
In this crazy world
Trying to go on
Looking for the answers
To the questions
And there You were

From the moment You appeared
Everything became so clear
I'm so glad that You're here, Lord

I smile when I think about
The way You've turned my life around
I smile when I think about
The happiness in You I've found
I'm so amazed at what Your love has done
And when I think the best is yet to come
I smile!
I smile!

Wandering the dark
Lost in the confusion
I thought I was losing my mind for sure
I searched with all my heart
Looking for direction
Something to believe in
And there You were
And You were reaching down to me
You were everything I needed
I'm so glad You found me, Lord

'Cause You've turned all my gray skies
To the brightest blue, yes, You did
And my life feels like sunshine
And it's because of You
All because of You.. I smile

learning requires EFFORT

Education in remote areas are far different from the what urbanized or semi-urbanized places experience. It's not that easy to get vehicles to ride. It requires students to wake up early in the morning to be able to catch an early ride. It's not easy to earn a single peso for allowance. It requires students to work every Saturday and Sunday to  have allowance for the whole week. Some of them have to work before going to school. It's not easy to walk whenever fare is not available. It requires perseverance - walking for 2-3 hours to school without slippers.

I got some pictures of persistent students here. Taken by King Horlador and Arjay Fortu:

Education is always available but learning really requires effort.

it started with LOVE

What else are you looking for?

Feeling alone?
     - Psalm 68:6a “God makes a home for the lonely

Feeling unworthy?
    - Psalm 139:14 "You are fearfully and wonderfully made."

Broken hearted?
    - Psalm 147:3 "He heals the broken hearted and bandages their wounds."

God is always around to offer us the HIS LOVE, the love that is always true.. steadfast... unfailing.... LOVE that reaches eternity...

Are you ready to accept His offering?

Pray this simple prayer.

Lord, I thank you for Your unfailing love. Thank you that You love me despite of being a sinner. Please forgive me for all those unrighteousness. Create in me a clean and pure heart. Lord, I admit I can do nothing without you. Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Teach me the way of life that is best of all. Lead me in Your truth and direct my paths. This is my prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.

God bless you brothers and sisters. :)

new BABIES

Just last Sunday, i got so much fun with these kids. That was my first time to be in their place in Biga - that was far place more than I thought but more enjoying than I expected. We had story telling and games. I felt I became child again.. hehehe...

They asked me to play 10-20 or Chinese garter. I enjoyed it so much because when i was a child, I am not able to play games like this because I became lame before. I was catching of breath with difficulty, bu then, I really had fun... hahahaha... If I could just play the whole day...

Melajoy is a really good Chinese garter player... I will be a good player soon. hehehe...

a blessing FACT

While roaming in Bohol, the tourist guide brought us in this place... It's a place in the riverside where tourists need to ride in a boat to be able to get there - the Ati Tribe

Those tribesmen welcomed us warmly with music and some solaced us with their dance. It's a very nice experience mingling with those people.

They are very respectful and always smile. But one thing that made me amazed about them was..... they are Christians... wow!.. I've heard somebody who asked them about their pastor and what they do, like this and like that... I'm so inspired with that.

That area is so remote yet, God really has His great plan to His people.

I enjoyed being in that place and here are some of my memories there:

The man in my left side, I think, is their leader....

They are holding bayawak... hehehe

While we are leaving, this little girl entertained us with her dance while other tribesmen play music. So cute ^^

momentos con MI MEJOR AMIGO (moments with my bestfriend)

A friend loves at all times.
-Proverbs 17:17

Many say that we really look alike...Many would presume that we are biological sisters. Do I and my best friend really look almost alike? (hehehehe)...

No matter what... One thing is for sure.. that this person beside me in this picture is one of God's gifts to me. He gave someone who will understands and pampers me in times of my weaknesses and "kalokahan".. Someone whom I could laugh and cry with.. Someone who never left and forgot me... I love this girl really...

I remember how we, after our class, have our food trip where we will eat whatever we want to eat... as long as we are not full, we will not stop eating...

I miss food tripping with this girl...

I know we could see each other again... I miss you so much... :') Jhoesah.... lab.lab.lab
Come back home soon... I haven't forgotten your promise yet- to treat me and Yvet when you're home... heheheh... God bless you always...

dancing GENERATION

Last Sunday was never an ordinary day for KKB - Calapan (Kristiyanong Kabataan para sa Bayan). We were assigned to perform an intermission number and yeahhhh!.. It's a fun Sunday for everybody...

Though some of us can't move like "dancers", we became "more than dancers" because we danced for the glory our most beloved Audience... our Lord Jesus Christ... We danced "Nothing is Impossible"..

Here are some shots from our performance... (I wished we had the video...)

I never thought  I would be dancing again because of my musculoskeletal strain... But as the song says, "Nothing is Impossible...with God"

That's the move!!!! Strongholds are broken... I am living by faith.. Nothing is impossible....

I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
Philippians 4:13
To God be the Glory!

when i got my WINGS...

One of my greatest dreams is to ride on an airplane... I really really want to experience that... It's just that God let me experience that moment. Last vacation, while we are under our on-the-job training, I was able to have my wings. My Tatay Don (my uncle) at Tita Cel (his wife) accompany me in a one week vacation in Cebu and Bohol... Wohooooooooo...! "I'm gonna ride on an airplane", my mind said.

Entering NAIA, I can't help smiling... hahaha... especially when I got this.... In few minutes, I'll be 20,000 feet above.. hahahha....

This is it..

I don't know what to feel, but my eyes are teary that moment.. so excited to take off... Yeeheee.. I'm sitting beside the window....

And the moment started...  We are ready to take off... (heart beating faster and faster... ^^)

There is just one thing in my mind at this moment... "Your works are incomparable. Thanks God for your wonderful and amazing creations and for letting my eyes see those... :'). I felt so close in heaven."
